Weather conditions

2022 was a particularly atypical year due to extreme weather conditions. ln addition to a very early frost in the spring, which affected the vineyard just as the vines were starting to bud, there was a long period of exceptional drought from May until the end of September. The result was low yields and a perfect state of health at harvest time throughout the vineyard.

Harvest

Tasting

Intense, deep purple colour.
The expressive nose opens with seductive aromas of black fruits, sublimated by hints of vanilla and cocoa, offering a bouquet that is both delicious and slightly spicy.
On the palate, the soft, velvety attack leads to a generous, round mid-palate. The structure is clearly present, underpinned by silky, enveloping tannins. The range of aromas, marked by a pleasant hint of vanilla, gives the wine a delicious mouthfeel. A perfectly balanced wine, combining finesse and intensity.

Château Bonnet

Château Bonnet

The cradle of Vignobles André Lurton, Château Bonnet is first and foremost a family home where tradition and ecological commitment come together in harmony. Nestled in the heart of the Entre-deux-Mers region, the estate promotes biodiversity with beehives, a henhouse, flowering fallows and orchards, while adopting biocontrol viticultural practices for some of its plots. Its fresh, expressive dry white wines reveal delicate notes of citrus and exotic fruit, perfect for accompanying seafood and oysters from the Bay of Arcachon. Its well-balanced red wines, with supple tannins, express all the richness and deliciousness of the fruit.
