Divinus is Château Bonnet's prestige cuvée. Our winemaking team has taken the greatest of care every step of the way to produce a wine on a par with the great growths. Made from perfectly ripe grapes, this cuvée displays softer fruit, more body and more pronounced oak when young than the Château Bonnet Réserve.

Conditions météorologiques
2020 was marked by very mild temperatures and contrasting precipitation: heavy spring rainfall was followed by an intense summer drought. The fairly mild winter led to early bud break. The summer heat gave way to cool nights in late August, ideal for ripening grapes.

Dégustation
A deep, intense garnet-red colour.
The nose is elegant and complex, with an aromatic palette dominated by intense black fruits, especially blackcurrants, accompanied by a hint of vanilla and a light spiciness reminiscent of the masterful use of wood. The whole is particularly pleasant and delicious.
The attack is soft and enveloping, followed by a generous, full-bodied palate with well-integrated tannins and a beautifully rounded finish. The balance between richness and freshness is remarkable, thanks to the tension that gives the wine its liveliness and pleasant fluidity. On the palate, the flavours of black fruits are persistent, especially blackberry jelly, accompanied by delicate vanilla notes. This is a wine that can be enjoyed now for its great drinkability, but it can also be cellared for a few years to develop its full range of aromas.
Terroir
Shallow soils with clay and asteriated limestone, excellent drainage and southern exposure.
Vigne
Pruning type: Double Guyot with debudding.
Grape Harvest: mechanical harvest.
Vinification
Temperature contrrolled with pumping-over and breaking up of the cap of solid grape particles.
Elevage
For 18 months in new french oak barrels.
