“OH OUI!” Rouge is part of a range of non-alcoholic drinks developed by Château Bonnet, in line with its values of innovation, respect for the environment and high quality standards.
OH OUI! Rouge is not a dealcoholised wine. Produced using a natural method that deliberately requires less energy, this non-alcoholic drink is made from Merlot grapes, carefully harvested from the Château Bonnet vineyards to guarantee their quality and the pure expression of the fruit.
OH OUI! Rouge completes the OH OUI! range with a red alternative that is generous and convivial, inviting moments of easy, light-hearted enjoyment.

Tasting

The deep, bright garnet-red colour announces a generous aromatic expression.
The nose opens with notes of very ripe red fruits, complemented by hints of undergrowth, violet and a touch of chocolate, in an aromatic register evoking the traditional expressions of Merlot in Bordeaux.
On the palate, the attack is smooth and ample. The texture offers volume and density, with structure provided by compounds extracted from the skins. The overall impression remains well balanced, with a fresh finish supported by lively acidity, bringing balance and freshness.

Clay-limestone and clay-siliceous.

In the vineyard

The Merlot grapes are harvested at advanced ripeness to ensure strong colour intensity and a fully developed aromatic expression, without any green notes. Machine-harvested, grapes destemmed.

Elaboration

Grape extraction: Short maceration of the Merlot grapes for a few hours, in order to promote colour extraction. After pressing, the juice is rapidly cooled, sterile-filtered, and then kept at very low temperature.

Processing: In stainless steel tanks.

Pasteurisation: Hot pasteurisation (75°C), using a pasteurisation tunnel.

Serving

Serve between 8°C and 10°C.

Food pairings

Roast chicken, hot cooked ham, spring rolls or fresh rolls (pork, vegetables or prawns), mild Creole cuisine (light chicken or vegetable colombo), fatty fish such as grilled salmon, and young, lightly aged cheeses.
