AOC Pessac-Léognan - Cru Classé de Graves
Château Couhins-Lurton is the emblematic estate of the André Lurton family. With a clay-limestone terroir unique to the appellation, the château produces Sauvignon Blancs with outstanding aromatic profiles bursting with fruit and hints of salinity, which age terrifically.

Conditions météorologiques
2020 was marked by very mild temperatures and contrasting precipitation: heavy spring rainfall was followed by an intense summer drought. The fairly mild winter led to early bud break. The summer heat gave way to cool nights in late August, ideal for ripening grapes.

Dégustation
Brilliant, with a nice pale yellow colour and some silver highlights.
The fine and very expressive nose exhales lively and tasty notes of citrus fruits (mandarin, grapefruit), but also of gooseberry.
On the palate, it is an elegant wine that marvellously combines power and freshness. It is creamy, dominated by delicate citrus notes (tangerine zest, lemon), but also fresh white fruit (granny apple, white peach), with a hint of spice. The finish combines more mineral notes (slate).
