Weather conditions
2019 was marked by a fairly mild winter, resulting in early bud break. Spring rainfall was scarce and drought conditions set in in early summer. Rainfall in August provided a welcome relief for winegrowers.

Tasting
Clear appearance, a pale yellow colour dotted with green reflections.
Full of freshness on the nose, with notes of citrus, lemon...
Well balanced, with roundness and smoothness, not forgetting an attractive freshness. More floral notes are added to the citrus aromas already perceived on the nose. The long finish is also very fresh, marked with a hint of salinity.

Château de Rochemorin is located on one of the highest gravelly hilltops in the Pessac-Léognan appellation. Formerly owned by the famous philosopher Montesquieu, the Château is characterized by the great diversity of its terroir. Rigorous soil mapping has enabled us to match each grape variety to the terroir best suited to it. Its white wines seduce with their remarkable aromatic palette, combining freshness and complexity, while its red wines embody the finesse and elegance of great Bordeaux wines.
